Jayda's First Day at Kindergarden

Well it doesn't seem so long ago that Jayda was just a baby and PHACE Syndrome was ruling our lives. Nearly four years on and PHACE still plays a part in Jayda's life but not the extent it once did and now our baby is going to kindergarden. Jayda has been so looking forward to school and she was just so excited when the big day came. She will be doing 2/3 days a week and she has a lovely teacher. Her big sister Amelia also took a big step as she started year one this year. Jayda has come so far over the last 12 months, with 3 laser treatments, speech therapy and her regular visits to PMH to see her other Doctors.

On the 16th of January Jayda's big sister Amelia turned six. We had a pool party even though the weather was a bit up and down that day. The kids love swimming and both girls are becoming more confident. Amelia wanted a Lalaloopsy cake and Tiff made another amazing cake. Amelia wanted a scooter this year and is already been riding at the skate park.

Well another Christmas has come and gone. This year we had Christmas at our house with all the family for lunch. It was another hot day here so a lot of time was spent in the pool. The girls also went to the Christmas pageant to see all the floats lit up.

Third Round of Laser

On Monday the 19th of November Jayda had her third laser treatment. Again a very early start to the day, but we got home before lunch again which is good. Dr Halbert thinks this will be last treatment and will do some little touch ups if needed. Even before this laser treatment Jayda was looking very good. She loves showing and telling people about her spots and it's something we admire in Jayda. She is courageous and fearless.

Halloween and Stuff

Here are some pics of the girls dressed up for Halloween, they went to a party then did a little trick or treating. Halloween is still not as big here in Australia as USA but the kids love it. The other pics are from Mandurah. We had a little cruise in the Valiant and stopped for lunch and the girls had a swim.

Family Birthdays

We have had two big birthday celebrations in the family. The first was Jayda's cousin Sienna's first birhtday and the second was her Uncle Jarryd's 21st birthday. Jayda's Mum Tiffany made both the cakes and both parties were great.
