Laser Treatment.

Jayda had her first Pulse Dye Laser Treatment today under General Anaesthetic. It was an early start with us needing to be at the hospital at 7:00am and Jayda was not allowed to drink from 6:00am. Jayda was very calm today and only cried when they put the mask on to put her to sleep. Her surgery was about 15mins and when we got to recovery she was sitting up waiting for her icy pole. It was a bit confronting seeing her bruised and swollen. Her next one will be in a couple of months and Jayda's Dermatologist Dr Anne Halbert is excited at the outcomes for Jayda.

ANZAC DAY

In Australia we have have a day that we reflect on the men and women who have sacrificed their lives for our freedom. We call this day ANZAC DAY. Jayda has had three relatives that have had to fight at war.Her Grandad was in Vietnam and Malaya, her Great Grandfather was in World War Two and her Great Great Grand Uncle was in World War One and killed in action at Gallipoli. We went to John Forrest National Park for the day with Tiff's Mum and Dad and Sister. We had a BBQ lunch and then went exploring some of the park. The park once had a train line but all that is left is tunnel built in 1895.

Jayda's Second Rock Concert

Jayda went to her second ever rock concert this year. Her Dad was doing lights for KISS ALIVE, a KISS tribute band. Both Jayda and Amelia love to sing and dance and know the words to many KISS songs. But when it came to having photos done with the band Jayda got a little scared of Gene Simmons because she saw him spit blood. It was quite funny.
