Jayda's 1st sports carnival.

Jayda had her first sports carnival this year which is combined with the kindy and pre-primary kids. Jayda is in the blue house De Grey, this is the name of a West Australian river. The day was cut short by bad weather but the kids managed to through half of their events. Jayda had a great day and came third in her running race.

Charity Cruise

On the 18th of August we participated in the "GO PINK FOR A PRINCESS" charity cruise and fundraiser. This was to raise money for the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation for kids. The girls were dressed in pink and we decorated our 69 Vf Safari in pink. There were over 250 cars, cake stalls, sausage sizzle and raffles. It was a great day, the girls even met Stitches the bear.

Jayda's 4th Birthday

On the 17th of April Jayda celebrated her 4th birthday. Jayda really wanted a skateboard and scooter like her big sister the only problem was trying to get them in purple. Family came over on the weekend but Jayda did not have her party until after the school holidays. It was very exciting for Jayda having a party with her school friends and she just loved it. Her cake this year was a pinata cake, so when you cut it it was filled with lollies. Tiff also made cake pops and we had our usual sausage sizzle.

Jayda's First Day at Kindergarden

Well it doesn't seem so long ago that Jayda was just a baby and PHACE Syndrome was ruling our lives. Nearly four years on and PHACE still plays a part in Jayda's life but not the extent it once did and now our baby is going to kindergarden. Jayda has been so looking forward to school and she was just so excited when the big day came. She will be doing 2/3 days a week and she has a lovely teacher. Her big sister Amelia also took a big step as she started year one this year. Jayda has come so far over the last 12 months, with 3 laser treatments, speech therapy and her regular visits to PMH to see her other Doctors.

On the 16th of January Jayda's big sister Amelia turned six. We had a pool party even though the weather was a bit up and down that day. The kids love swimming and both girls are becoming more confident. Amelia wanted a Lalaloopsy cake and Tiff made another amazing cake. Amelia wanted a scooter this year and is already been riding at the skate park.

Well another Christmas has come and gone. This year we had Christmas at our house with all the family for lunch. It was another hot day here so a lot of time was spent in the pool. The girls also went to the Christmas pageant to see all the floats lit up.
